Input 72 8-lane data bus carrying 8-bit data and 1-bit control
information. Lane 0 starts from the least significant
bit.

Indicates the link fault status from the RS RX to the
RS TX.
■ 00 = No link fault.
■ 01 = Local fault.
■ 10 = Remote fault.
When you instantiate the MAC RX only variation,
connect this signal to the corresponding TX client
logic to handle the local and remote faults.
link_fault_status_xgmii_tx_data[]
Input 2
This signal is present only in the MAC TX only
variation. Connect this signal to the corresponding RX
client logic to handle the local and remote faults.
Indicates the link fault status to the RS TX.
■ 00 = No link fault
■ 01 = Local fault
■ 10 = Remote fault
